Eli got a new ride for his Birthday. He loves to cruise the living room and kitchen, looking for a good time. He hopes to one day run into a young hottie who likes to ride too!

Cousin Claire's Birthday party!!

Last weekend we went to Cousin Claire's first Birthday party! It was great to see so many of our favorite faces and catch up with everyone! Claire wasnt so sure about the whole cake thing at first but caught on really quickly once she tasted the frosting!! She was very clean about it, making sure not to leave even one little taste of frosting on the tray!! Eli enjoyed playing with her new toys as much as she did! Happy Birthday Claire!! xoxo

Family Pictures 08

We had family pictures done at Eli's one year mark! We went to a park nearby and my good friend Robin took our pics! She did a really great job even though it was freezing and Eli kept squinting from the cloudy weather! These are our favorites.

My buck is bigger than your buck!!

Last month Matt went black powder hunting and shot a white tail 3 point buck. Eli and I joined him for a few days. It was beautiful in Lyle, lots of trees changing colors for fall. We took our tent trailer and stayed really warm thanks to Gregg and his obsession with tarps and heaters. Matt and I have been going back and forth about putting a picture of the deer Matt shot on the blog. I say NO dead animals and he wants to know "why not?". We decided to compromise and put up this picture off the internet.By the way, deer meet is really good cooked in BBQ sauce!!

Eli's First Birthday!!

Eli loved his costume birthday party! The kids looked adorable in their cute little costumes running around playing. Eli dressed up in his Seahawk outfit. He loved his football cake and threw a huge fit when daddy tried to help him get a better hold of his huge bite!! Eli has 11 teeth now and is pulling himself up the furniture...watch out!! He loves to feed himself and is doing pretty good with a sippy cup as long as someone is helping him! Eli is the best thing that has ever happened to Matt and I and we are very grateful for him.

Busted!!

Yesterday I left Eli alone and ran to go get something, when I returned I found him getting into Voodoo's dog dish and helping himself to some chow. I knew that someday he would try this trick but I had no idea it would be this soon. Eli is growing up so fast. He has 6 teeth now and loves to eat food more than have his bottles now. He will be a year old on the 26th!!
