At the end of June our family went to the San Juans! We got to ride on the ferry to Orcas Island and then stayed in a yurt for the long weekend. There were deer walking around and racoons that were not afraid of humans. David and Matt enjoyed the fishing and the girls enjoyed going on walks around the beautiful resort. It had the coolest set up, very earth friendly, shared kitchens for the guests, very clean showers and amazing view of the surrounding islands.
Also, for those of you who have not already heard D girl and Bubba moved from our home into a long term foster home that is a better fit for them. We miss them but know that this is the right decision for everyone. Once again we are on a search for the next member of our family! Wish us luck and please keep us in your prayers.
